Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 9, 2026

Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what personal information Bibblin (operated by NexAige LLC) collects, why we collect it, and how we protect it. Please read it alongside our Terms of Service.

1. Information we collect

We collect information you provide directly when you create an account, start a book, or contact us. This includes your email address, name, and any story details you enter in the guided studio.

When you make a purchase we collect billing information through our payment processor (Stripe). We never see or store your full card number — only the last four digits and billing address Stripe sends us.

We automatically collect standard server log data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps) and use cookies to keep you signed in and to improve the site.

2. Photos you upload

Uploading a reference photo is entirely optional. When you do, the image is used only to help illustrate the main character of your book to resemble a real person.

  • We do not train any AI model on your photos.
  • We do not sell or share your photos with third parties.
  • Photos are retained only as long as needed to complete your book, then deleted from our servers.
  • The illustration we produce is an original artwork inspired by your photo — not a copy, filter, or trace of it.

3. How we use your information

  • To create, personalise, print, and deliver your storybook.
  • To process payments and send order confirmations.
  • To send you transactional emails (order updates, shipping notifications).
  • To respond to support requests.
  • To improve and protect the service — analysing usage patterns and preventing abuse.
  • To send occasional product news and offers (you can unsubscribe any time from any marketing email).

4. Sharing with third parties

We share your information only with service providers who help us operate Bibblin, and only to the extent necessary:

  • Stripe — payment processing.
  • Lulu — professional book printing and fulfilment; we share your shipping address and book files.
  • Google Cloud — cloud infrastructure, AI text and image generation.
  • Clerk — account authentication.
  • Resend — transactional email delivery.

We do not sell your personal data to advertisers or data brokers.

5. Data retention

We keep your account information and book library for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time by contacting hello@makestorybooks.com, after which we will remove your personal data within 30 days (except where we are required to retain certain records for legal or accounting purposes).

6. Security

We use industry-standard encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. Access to production systems is restricted to authorised personnel. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children

Bibblin is a service for adults who create books about or for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal data without parental consent, please contact us and we will delete it.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@makestorybooks.com.

If you are in the European Economic Area, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, notify you by email or with an in-app notice.
